About Us

CBOL Corporation was founded in 1987 and is a U.S. based, employee-owned, multi-faceted company that supplies products to its international and domestic customers in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, military, automotive, industrial, environmental and electronics.

Our Company is comprised of teams of specialists, including engineers and sales experts, who have a broad spectrum of knowledge and expertise in specific programs, industries, economies and cultures. Our employees speak a variety of languages.

Through our extensive network of manufacturers and suppliers both in the U.S. and abroad, we are able to provide low-cost, high-quality, hard-to-find parts and components, assemblies, raw materials, chemicals and OEM parts. When required, CBOL can provide PPAP and process control documentation created from electronic monitoring devices.

CBOL can coordinate the logistics for all ocean, air and ground transportation. We provide efficient export packaging including Hazmat packing and shipping, IPPC/HT treatment specifications for wooden crates, IATA documentation, kitting, LTA/JIT/AOG, as well as any required export license. In addition, our buying power allows us to achieve lower freight costs by consolidating shipping containers.

    Certifications, Registrations and Awards

    Directorate of Defense Trade Controls/Department of State ("DDTC")

    All manufacturers, exporters, and brokers of defense articles, defense services, or related technical data, as defined on the United States Munitions List, are required to register with Directorate of Defense Trade Controls DDTC. Registration is a precondition for the issuance of any license or other approval for export. CBOL is registered with the DDTC as exporter of defense articles.
    The Bureau of Industry and Security/Department of Commerce ("BIS")

    The Bureau of Industry and Security is charged with the development, implementation and interpretation of U.S. export control policy for dual-use commodities, software, and technology. Dual-use items subject to BIS regulatory jurisdiction have predominantly commercial uses, but also have military applications. CBOL is certified to apply for and receive licenses from BIS.
    Department of Transportation ("DOT")

    CBOL is registered and has met all the training and safety requirements with the Department of Transportation to provide for the transport of Hazardous Materials.
    Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives US Department of Justice ("ATF")

    CBOL is registered with ATF as a dealer and handler of high explosives.

    CBOL brings many years of experience in supplying off-the-shelf and customized products from approved U.S. and foreign vendors to a growing list of world-class customers. In recognition of this extensive experience, the U.S. government has awarded CBOL the President's "E" Certificate for Exports for its outstanding contribution to export expansion.
